Amber played a huge part in the movie “The Jurassic Park”, ever since then people have realized what an amazing piece of jewelry stone this is and how much it has been with us throughout history. This is the one gem that was used in the movie to recreate and clone new dinosaurs and bring them to life. By making use of the small mosquito that was trapped inside the blood from the bug was used in order to get the right DNA to create the dinosaurs. The stone as such has been with us right from the Jurassic age and it has had such a huge part of history with our ancestors and in the ice age too that it is considered to be one of the most beautiful and popular gems in the world.

1.      Many people think that the amber is a gemstone, however it is not, and it is actually hardened resin that has been in the process of becoming an amber stone for millions of years.
2.      Amber is not heavy, as some may think. The gem is pretty light to the touch and it can even float in salt water. We can go as far as saying that amber is the lightest and most delicate of all precious gems in the world.
3.      While minerals and gems are cool, amber is not. There are many types of amber stones but once you rub them they become warm and when they are burnt they give out a fragrant sweet smell from pines.
4.      Amber is not only in the yellow honey color that it is famously known for. There are other colors as well. Such as brown, red, maroon, golden yellow, orange, black and even green.
5.      Amber was not always used for jewelry, it was used in Egypt as a strong ingredient to take care and preserve the mummies. It has also played an important role in ancient Greece and other mythologies. 

Amber Jewelry has been used in the form of earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets, and other types of accessories. They were said to preserve youthfulness and increase the energy levels of your health in order to make sure that you are in good health and in a balanced state of mind
